Yacht and villa party DJ in Costa Smeralda
On a yacht, I start by coordinating with the crew.
I DJ at yacht parties mainly in Costa Smeralda and Porto Rotondo. Before boarding, I coordinate with the captain and crew on access and installing the sound system. We discuss your taste in music, your guests and the timings before the party. During the party, I also adapt the music to the people listening and dancing.
For a villa party, I try to visit the property with you. I show you where I would place the decks and speakers, and we look at which spaces to use. We agree when the music will finish, taking local council rules and property requirements into account.
I always bring my own sound system.
I use my own sound system on yachts. Unloading is simpler if the yacht stays in port. If it is offshore, we arrange a suitable port for unloading, followed by a tender transfer to the yacht with the equipment. I coordinate these arrangements with the crew before the event.
I also bring my own sound system to villa parties. If a larger setup is needed, I work with a trusted production partner. I can add saxophone, violin or percussion to the DJ set, arranging the musicians and coordinating their performances.
Before bringing the equipment
How I arrange arrival and setup.
In port
I agree with the captain and crew where to unload and how to install the sound system on board.
Offshore
I coordinate the meeting point and tender transfer with the crew, including transport for the equipment.
At the villa
I assess where to place the decks and speakers based on the spaces chosen for the party.
Frequently asked questions.
Do you use the yacht's sound system?
I always bring my own. I agree with the captain and crew where to set it up and how to bring the equipment aboard, whether the yacht is in port or offshore.
How do you put together a quote?
The type of event, its duration, any travel required and the sound system. To prepare a quote, I ask where the party will take place. For a yacht party, I also confirm how I will transfer aboard with the equipment.
Can I get in touch just a few days before the party?
Yes, I also receive last-minute requests for yacht and villa parties. Send me the date and location so I can check availability and discuss how to arrange the DJ set with you.
How do we agree when the music finishes?
We agree this before the event, taking local council rules and the limits set by the property or venue into account. For a party on board, I also discuss this with the captain and crew.
